FTC Request for Comments on Commercial Surveillance and Data Security (federalregister.gov)

There are only 131 comments on this issue so far, but this is essentially going to be the basis for the US's GDPR-lite. I think that the HN community could have a lot of interesting perspectives to contribute to this important rule making.
