Is Amazon still known to be a brutal workplace?
I read Working Backwards and it seems like people are forced to do their interviews better to avoid wrong hires
Are you okay to work in org with sycophants, backstabbers, and few people who actually want to see you succeed?
I'm still getting used to this, but does anyone actually want to see you succeed in this world (besides your parents if you're lucky)?
Good managers will and in return turn you into a better person for it too!
Is Amazon like this? For tech workers
Remember: the i in Team hides in the A-hole.

The environment you choose for your proffessional progression is absolutely up to you. The nature of the underperformer and overperformer is also not as static as you might think! In an org that actually has time to teach, you will make others AND yourself happy by sharing knowledge and advancing the team.
