[–] ohadron 3y ago ↗ Some possible reasons -- More costly data transfer and compression processing- Significant user segment with not enough bandwidth to support it- Significant user segment with sub-1080 cameras (Most being sold today are 720p or less)- Low ROI - it might make sense to solve other problems first with the same engineering resources
