I'm pretty sure the entire point of them is using them for military purposes, but things will get exciting when the police gets their hand on them, and even more exciting when the criminals do.

The future is way too exciting if you ask me.

Of course, robots will be weaponized. Of course, privacy will be eroded. Of course, ubiquitous surveillance will become the norm.

It's pissing into the wind to doubt these things will be too attractive and simple to be avoided. They're impossible to suppress with words.
