The fact that they never implemented a policy for all their VR employees to get a Quest is ludicrous. I'm sure everyone was aware, but no one had the confidence to tell Mark. They're only telling him what he wants to hear and clearly don't feel they can provide honest feedback.
I think the first board meetings, annual sales kickoffs, performance review management meetings, or other high-level, meaningful and lengthy events held in their own metaverse will be the most telling. What goes on at the leaves of the org chart will be useful signal. It's when the roots of the org chart, that controls the behavior of the leaves, actually puts up with a few hours of it among themselves, that's really interesting.
