Crypto fans were pushing Portugal because they had 0 tax on crypto. Still not bad, but >0 for those who optimized for that.
Good. It's not like crypto is creating any local jobs compared to the tax it's avoiding.
I prefer to ask why the state is entitled to more taxation, rather than asking why its citizens are entitled to keep more.

That's a much much better deal than what you would get in many other countries. Sometimes I wonder why I don't live in Portugal, but I'm sure it's not all roses.
