Nowbox is looking for a senior backend engineer to revolutionize TV industry

We are YC10 alumni backed by top angels including SV Angel and Ashton Kutcher. Our upcoming product turns your iPad into a set top box that features the best of YouTube. We have a GREAT mobile team and are looking for a full-time web backend engineer to lead engineering on our server side.

What you can expect to do on the job:

- API design and implementation that will serve millions of clients on mobile devices

- real-time video recommendation: recommending trending videos before they become trending

- targeted viewership: discovering the best way to target video ads to our users

- analytic dashboard for content provider

Ideal candidate is passionate about video space, has shipping experience with modern web frame work and cloud computing. Ad targeting, video processing and machine learning experience is huge plus.
