Ask HN: Is anyone here in tech making significant money on YouTube?

A few months ago I started a YouTube channel to teach SAP's proprietary programming language: ABAP. In recent months I have started to make some (small) revenue from the YouTube partner program.

Are there others here that have tech-related channels? Are you finding any significant income gains from your channel? If you are successful in this endeavor, what topics generally garner the most views/watch hours?

seems pretty niche. I would think you'll need some kind of course or other backend. or expand the channel and find other topics.

Thanks, it's something I've always thought on doing and the motivation finally materialized. It's niche enough that I haven't had to do any advertising and the viewers keep coming so that's been great!
