Ask HN: Alternative UI for Zoom Chat?

After years of using Slack and Discord for company chat, I _really_ struggle with Zoom’s chat interface.

I’ve looked at pidgin and Adium, so far I don’t see a zoom connector. Does anyone know of an alternative client?
