Missing (2015) from title
Since the assets for a .xm or .mod file are so tiny it would be fun to have a p2p social platform on scuttlebutt, hypercore or fediverse where folks could remix each other's tracks, reusing the same samples (using a content addressable hash so that the binary blobs could be reused from a local copy).
Cool demoscene vibes.
I still listen to tracer music. I was blown away when I rsynced an entire mod collection from Aminet and it turned out to be a gigabyte and some change. As an Amiga user I always were mixed on .xm, it taxed my little computer too much to be used as a background music.
