I didn't know that crime victims could force a prosecuter to Prosecute people . This seems unlikely to go anywhere.
While they can’t force a Prosecutor to prosecute, the ruling does bolster the lawsuits from those impacted like families and partners. I’m curious what your definition of “anywhere” is
In some jurisdictions, victims can launch a private prosecution. The government always has the right to shut it down, by taking it over and dismissing it. But doing that can have a political cost (public outrage, negative media coverage, etc)-which makes it a potentially useful tool in pressuring the public prosecutor into action.
