Assuming this works exactly as designed, isn't it going to atomize roach guts into the air? I can appreciate that it's a fun project from an engineering perspective, but compared with simple traps and preventative cleaning...
Well, it is a start but will cockroaches maintain the tenacity of its “survival of the fittest”?
Will cockroaches gain a tiny shred of intelligence to avoid these laser traps by the sheer alerting virtue of these atomatized molecules bursting through the air by its exploding brethren?
Will they go faster? Bigger? Hungrier? Breed more?
Can we chalk this up as a potential gain-of-function science?
