The solution to self driving isn’t AI, I know that much. Imagine your wheel is in the hands of calculated guessing…what could possibly go wrong.

Hopefully we’ll see the automotive makers form a standard alliance with something like V2X communications. All this unit independent AI is bad news for humanity and Elon Musk is a degenerate who shouldn’t be trusted…

I had no idea so little had been invested. No wonder it's going slowly.

(For something complicated like driving, something like five to ten percent of a year's world GDP - $5 trillion plus - would seem about right.)

What will happen first? Robots drive us around, or we all live in the metaverse?
