All of Captain Disillusion's videos are great but this one seemed more technical than most - thought that could make it a good candidate to post to HN.

This is the style of his (relatively) new-ish "CD /" series. They focus on really specific aspects of video production, rather than special effects in general.

The two greatest Captain Disillusion videos are "The World's greatest Blenderer" and "Flight of the Navigator", of course :-)

I very much enjoyed the one where he explains how music videos are made ... by inviting a Japanese pop band and making their music videos.

The Captain stays the same. Alan does so, too, but I suppose that's because he isn't paid enough to afford changing anything.
