All of Captain Disillusion's videos are great but this one seemed more technical than most - thought that could make it a good candidate to post to HN.

It's part of a technical series, very sporadic. I remember one on resolution.

The two greatest Captain Disillusion videos are "The World's greatest Blenderer" and "Flight of the Navigator", of course :-)

This is the style of his (relatively) new-ish "CD /" series. They focus on really specific aspects of video production, rather than special effects in general.

Everything he makes is great.

With little change! When I'm watching some of my favorite YouTubers, they have changed both delivery and looks quite a bit.

The Captain stays the same. Alan does so, too, but I suppose that's because he isn't paid enough to afford changing anything.
