I'm honestly impressed by Zuck's willingness to completely ignore market conditions.
You can't go from 0 to 1 without doing so. Faster horses and all.
Put it this way. He's got more money than he will ever be able to spend. He has controlling shares so no one can fire him. At this point, he's trying to boost his legacy. He wants to be known for more than just the hated Facebook creator. He wants to elevate himself to the likes of Jobs or Elon.

He doesn't care about Wallstreet.

Eh, he's got market evaluations that could go to zero.

Sure, by then there'd be chop shopping of Meta, but anyone using market valuation as money needs a better economic model.

He has sold more Meta shares and probably has other personal investments that he'll never run out of money. And it won't go to zero. They have 3 billion users. You think he'll hang on until $0?
