Hey everyone, previously my friend and I made a Figma plugin for converting from Figma to Tailwind and we have been iterating on it for the past 7 months from the feedback we’ve gain from all the people we’ve met on reddit / telegram / hackernews.
The most common feedback that we got from our FireJet plugin revolved around the friction between design and code. We thought hard about how we could work around these issues and here is what we’ve come up with.
Any and all feedback on whether this solves your pain points is really appreciated! Thank you!
Interesting. But why use Figma at all? Note, that's not a knock on this idea / product. It's more about why use Figma?
In the past, I've used BootstrapStudio (https://bootstrapstudio.io/), which to me makes sense especially when there are still - in 2022!??!? - people using Photoshop to do "web design". The end product is something in the browser, so why isn't design + code done in the browser? Why generate a PNG only to convert it to markup + CSS? Makes zero sense.
Finally, last week or so, someone shared Makery.app. Maybe check that out as well?
