Do I have enough experience for Google senior Eng?

I got an interview at Google - it’s a company most people dream of working at, so why am I writing this instead of grinding leetcode ?

Well it’s for a senior Eng role. Do I actually have enough experience or will I waste my time grinding leetcode just to be told off.

So, my experience: - 1 year of no name company internship - masters (with published research) - 2 years at startup - 1 year at Amazon as L4 ( on resume just says software dev so level is not explicit) - parents related to my work at startup

I did not apply to the position, I was contacted about it by a recruiter. Do they have a decent screening process before the interview invitation?

I am just worried the recruiter is impressed by my skills, but when I talk to an engineer they will tell me to stop wasting their time.

Impostor syndrome or reasonable concern ?

Not saying this is the case but recruiters have quotas and the less experienced ones will blast out emails like this.

I have not been impressed by ANY recruiter pre-screening for any job.

I'm not saying you shouldn't apply, I'm just saying that don't read too much into the fact that they reached out to you directly. It's a numbers game for them.
