Still the best smartwatch IMO. Battery on the OG and 2 would last ~1 week due to the e-ink/paper display. Meanwhile, the Apple Watch and Droid equivalents the battery would last ~1 day.
Still using mine. Still good for notifications and music controls, the only things I actually care about on a smartwatch.
I've considered Garmin watches a few times -- a week or more of battery life would be great for bike touring, for instance. But it's hard to justify a chonkier watch when the Round is still working great after almost a decade.
Nothing can replace the Round completely, as far as I can tell.
Garmin's smaller Instinct model looks pretty good (the 2S Solar will likely replace my Round if/when it dies).
I'm also intrigued by the Bangle.js 2 (https://shop.espruino.com/banglejs2). The touch screen makes me a little nervous -- I'd prefer buttons, especially for outdoor activities -- but an open source OS is a very cool thing. Design seems a lot like the Pebble Time.

I couldn't find a smartwatch I like since.

But I do get your frustration. You might be best off with a simple watch like the Timex Weekender (https://www.timex.com/browse/collections/weekender/shop-all-...) or just no watch at all.
Granted if i turned the GPS on it could go down to as low as 24 hours depending on how often it updates.
I was a first hour pebble backer but its time has passed. Sadly.
