These one is interesting. They're used for things, and animals.

People are just animals, after all. These pronouns recognize that fact.

As someone who uses they/them pronouns I always find this article to be a bit misguided,

I'm not going to get angry about it, or lose any sleep, I just think RMS has a naive understanding in this domain and is overly confident in his conclusions.
