What I cannot wrap my head around is why PANTONE requested their swatches to be removed from Adobe. What better way to make your system THE standard in the industry than to have it tightly integrated with the standard suite of professional tools?
Do they have such a strong foothold in the industry now that there is no risk of some other color matching system taking their seat at the table?
I am no longer in print, but I surely would not pay that sub. The colour guides are expensive enough.
