Hi HN, I’m one of the co-founders of Metrist. We are excited to be launching today and would love your feedback.
Metrist offers direct observability of the cloud products that power modern software. Everything from EKS, to Twilio, GitHub, and more.
Metrist uses a combination of functional testing and in-app monitoring to paint a complete picture of cloud dependency health, with alerting and enough detail to understand what’s happening, who is impacted, and how.
Our value isn’t telling you about major outages. Rather, the depth of our visibility allows us to offer so much more – which you can read about in this submitted blog post that goes into detail about some of the interesting things we’ve uncovered and how we’ve helped our design partners while in beta.
Thanks for checking us out, we’d truly love to hear your thoughts in the comments.
Been using Metrist for a few months now. So nice to get status updates delivered straight to Slack as opposed to trusting vendor status pages and eventually having to just defer to Twitter.
Such a helpful product! We have been using Metrist.io at #paid for quite a while. It's so much easier to keep an eye on our 3rd party tools and vendors right from within Slack. It has helped our team optimize their responses to incidents by focusing their effort where and when it matters. To add to this, Metrist.io is helping us get the right visibility into how much we can rely on some of these 3rd party tools/services and whether they are worth the spend.
I joined the team last month. Very impressed by the quality of the software, the talent in the team, and eager to see all the ways Metrist will improve reliability engineering.
We've been using Metrist at Torch.io for well over a year and it has enabled us to react quickly instead of being on our heels during several outages outside of our control. This is air traffic control monitoring for everything flying outside of your infrastructure.
