The one thing this article doesn’t cover is what is Musks strategy for making Twitter more engaging? All the rest of it is … fine, I accept the premise. I have to assume something is going on behind the scenes in terms of appealing to content creators.
To me it looks like Musk always intended to complete the Twitter deal and the entire bot saga was a feint to protect the deal from governments and internal actors. They had the power to do a lot of damage in the six months it would have taken before the deal closed, if they even allowed it to close in the first place.
He's kindof crazy, we all know that. And sometimes he's wrong.

But he's also right quite often. I wouldn't bet against him.
