Ask HN: Trust and Automated Trading Systems

What would make you trust an automated trading system?

Right now the architecture I'm thinking of is a cloud-based server that calculates the trades, with a Web UI. Then a client that the users would run locally to open and close trades, with logic to ensure these requests are valid.

This is for crypto at the moment.
