In terms of fps/$ or fps/W perhaps, but the 4090 is still king for raw performance it seems.

Can’t wait for Gamers Nexus’ and JayzTwoCents’ benchmarks.

4090 being faster isn't exactly shocking. But it costs 600 more and requires other sacrifices such as more power, including maybe a new PSU. Definitely going AMD this round.

As a Linux user and early adopter of the 5700, the first few months were painful. Vulkan support was bad. These days the experience is actually better. It really is

I’ve held off getting a 40x0 waiting for this announcement, I don’t need the full 4090 power except for maybe MSFS, and there are variables to consider with the 4090. The 4080 looks more on par with today’s announcement. I am waiting for the benchmarks very excitedly before making a decision.

I was just judging the post’s title - the 7090 XTX might be fast but it ain’t FAST, which I feel what was being implied.

For sure. I am not going to drop 1k + VAT based on hype alone.

The reason I am not even considering nvidia is the 4080 12gb shenanigans. Simply cannot tolerate attempts like that. Straight up offensive
