I hope they're re-adding verification to it soon, otherwise blue checks completely lose their original purpose.
Despite not liking his childish antics I'm rooting for Musk with this Twitter acquisition, as Twitter needed to improve - it's just not looking good from these first few days
I thought this was kinda the point, like it doesn’t matter who you are, if you’re willing to pay $8 a month you must, on net, be a more “valid” user.
Seems like actually verifying everyone would take a big staff if customer service folks and filter out people willing to pay so not so sure that aligns with Musks current strategy of fire everyone and make money fast.
