LeetCode-style interviews are bad, but are they also falling out of fashion? Based on my recent job market experience, this article describes six other, better coding interview formats.

Live coding sessions are bullshit.

If you must have them implement something have them do it asynchronously on their own and then review it with them.

And don’t make it longer than you would if you were in person.

If you’re worried about plagiarism then have them record themselves doing it.
