Ah, the post I wrote links to a bunch of stuff, but there's so much I would have done differently. These are the highlights...
- Talk to VCs earlier, but not put effort into actual fundraising
- Ran an order of magnitude more user research
- Not bothered putting the effort into raising a pre-seed (without much to show) in this fundraising environment as a function of my current self/life situation
- We offered our testers way too much of a free testing period (6 months!). That was 6-months to see if they convert. X_X
- Switch to a riskiest-assumptions-test (RAT) framework rather than MVP
- Pay much closer attention to capital efficiency rather than a "go big or go home approach"
