What advantages does it have over the open source jitsi or open source bigbluebutton?
It's apparently specifically designed to facilitate large scale hosting with seamless configuration changes and the like. The story is that mailbox.org (Heinlein sister project) hit a lot of road blocks like that with their current system (BBB) and decided they have to build their own.

They also have big plans for proper end to end encryption.

are there known problems with Jitsi's e2e encryption?
So not actually open source yet, just a non binding statement …
They originally wanted to release in March, oh well.

The product looks nice though, I hope they succeed.
