And now some new domain name will be circulated. Whack-a-mole indeed. For the last 40years...
Some clearnet domains still work, though currently just displaying onion addresses with downloads disabled. Any guesses on how long it'll take them to get back like before?

Everything was recently mirrored, incidentally.

The organization itself is quite mysterious. I'd love to know more about how it operates, but obviously secretly must be maintained.

For those concerned, feds seize the domain for one of the largest sites for pirated books and articles. The servers are still fine.
Thank the good lord, this site is a savior for broke college kids and insanely priced text books
When are we going to hold US universities accountable for that?
Well that's a shame. I buy a lot of paper books because I love the physical aspect of it but I can't be bothered to bring them along when travelling, especially large ones.

I usually just grab a digital copy off of z-library to put on my e-reader and that works wonders. The nice part about "pirating" books also comes from the removal of DRM, which are a pain to deal with when your e-reader doesn't have internet access.

I would be all out to buy from a store that gives you both format (paper and digital) but unfortunately that's still kinda rare.
