I posted this because I'm curious what the minimum personnel requirement is to just keep Twitter up, and whether the company right now is at risk of falling below that. We're in a bizarre situation where a site that remains massively popular and influential is at risk of disappearing from the web for no good reason beyond one man's capriciousness.

My offer to take Twitter off of Musk's hands for $30K remains open.

He's really rich, you should ask for more than $30k to take it off his hands.
YouTube will be the last remaining social media platform because it's the only one that actually makes enough money to stay above water. Every other platform is gonna be gone in the next decade (some probably sooner than others).

The people that care about the content they are hosting on Twitter should request an archive and start figuring out where to go next because one way or another Twitter will have to change in order to make enough money to at least pay the bills for their data centers.

Facebook could if they stopped the metaverse cash bonfire.
All social networks have a limited shelf life so even if he stops burning cash it will just delay the inevitable by only a few years.
Military observers have commented w.r.t the Ukraine war on how a military unit can lose combat effectiveness if enough people are lost to death or injury.

It looks to me like Twitter has lost combat effectiveness

There are B-school case studies kicking off already I'm sure.
