Ask HN: Does addons.mozilla.org have too much chrome?

To me it looks great, but too "flashy," by which I mean you can't move the mouse without Something Happening. It's a tremendous accomplishment for all involved, and like I say it looks great, but usability-wise I think it falls down quite a bit.
