Not the creator of this video, but is an excellent critique of the current state of Zuck's "Metaverse"

I remember an old webcomic (Ran from 2003-2007 IIRC) called Kid Radd, about retro video game characters who end up set free from their original games by getting uploaded to the internet. There's a major shopkeeper NPC character, "Itty Bitty" with a running gag where he's missing the lower half of his body because he's always been drawn behind a counter. He can become invisible by entering his "crouch" animation.

Metaverse without its expensive legs implemented is/was a whole world of Itty Bitties to me.
