Maybe antivirus should be a protected term. The amount of fake, ad-riddled,and downright malicious antiviruses are absurd.
It is a protected term. It signifies "that software which must be installed to pass company security audit".

SW developers do not like fixing bugs, they like writing "features".

A lot of the listed malware is attributed 2.08 % of the total spread, and that hints at a very small dataset being used to compute these statistics.
