I feel like posts about how tired you are of hearing about someone are pretty self-defeating since it involves talking about that person.
But whether you talk about Musk or not, he's still going to be setting fire to Twitter, which is genuinely one of the largest and strangest tech stories of 2022.
Internet dynamics are such that "can we stop talking about" is indistinguishable from "let's talk about". So posts like this do the opposite of what they want.
The things I know of that actually help are (a) to flag posts that really shouldn't be on HN—especially if they're follow-up posts on a MOT (major ongoing topic) that don't add any SNI (significant new information; and (b) to post other things that are genuinely interesting.
