Did Wickr Me have very many users? The only times I've really heard of it was to do with people using it for drugs and issues with CSAM.

I've also only heard about less than legal use cases, mainly drugs. It surprised me AWS kept it running this long, although I was surprised they bought it to begin with.

I wonder what will take its place, Signal still wants users' phone numbers which probably won't be what drug dealers want to do.

Snapchat maybe? Don't think it's encrypted but doesn't need a phone number and messages disappear
