Healthcare is screwed until $$$ is no longer the primary objective. You just can’t have good healthcare when profit motive is the main driving force — worse still government gets involved, but rather then fix things they make it worse because they are in bed with the big $$$.

Even well meaning companies will succumb to rotating-door and take-your-last-penny medicine, often not even fully aware of it.

[I’ll make exception with my own statement, that if we could get market forces to behave fairly for healthcare then it would probably be the best possible care — but how?]
