Some people want to get forgiveness without repentance.

Before declaring a pandemic amnesty, we need a pandemic mea culpa

Except for a pretty long list?

So why the disconnect from reality? Either government is lying or a number of reliable sites are all lying?

Obviously, the conservatives ended up getting crushed in the election. Losing 17 seats because they pulled this.
