Is it racist to say that licentious, unprotected intimate contact with many partners is likely to spread disease? Will changing the name of the disease help clarify any discussion about it?
Diseases are almost always named after what or where it was first spotted or diagnosed. Are we prohibited from looking for diseases in those places, because naming another "bad" thing after them is perceived as hurting people? I thought we learned centuries ago that science shouldn't be held hostage by politics. Instead of the Catholic church, we have the woke cult holding it back.
