Has the HN API Stopped Updating?

The Front Page feed https://hnrss.org/frontpage hasn't received any updates in over 24 hours.

[Edit:] A comment indicates that the HN search index hasn't updated either. I see absolutely nothing there from the past 24 hours. So now I suspect it's the HN API.

One of the Android apps for HN, Harmonic, is broken as of the past 24-48h as well. Links are loading fine, but comments are not. I am not the developer so I'm unsure if this is related, but it sure seems like it might be.

Same for me. Initially I thought it had something to do with the client itself since the website loaded fine for me. Good to know I'm not the only one facing the issue.

If you are looking to try another app, my app HACK on Android, iOS and MacOS works fine currently for almost all sections (Except one section in the Chronological section). My app parses the HN website instead of Algolia for majority of the content, so it's not impacted.

Also same submission isn't getting grouped together either. So you have five of the same submission of the exact same link within a few hours.

I am wondering if part of their Cache system is broken.

The problem is likely at Algolia's end. They also have a nice HN Search API and most likely hnrss.org is using that one. I've contacted them and they're currently looking into it.

Edit: they've found the problem and are currently backfilling the missing data. If anyone still experiences trouble with HN Search after (say) 24 hours from now, please let us know at hn@ycombinator.com.
