I'm not a crypto apologist but this was quite a one-sided debate with some odd moderation. Yanis Varoufakis's points were interesting.

I think his "opponent" is a weak/inexperienced debater.

I came to this conclusion (somewhat) independently: Crypto (the algorithm) is good, crypto-as-decentralized-currency is (currently) bad.
