Compared 2016-2019 with 2020-2022 and found some difference.

It was a very small sample, but other than that, I think there have been a lot of changes, especially for young people, since 2016. The rise of hyperpolarozed media, tiktok and other weaponized attention / outrage engines, all sorts of weird culture war stuff. I'm nowhere near that age so I don't know how they were affected, but the government imposed restrictions aren't all that happened. It would be interesting to compare with places that handled covid more sanely and see if the same effect is observed
