The mechanics of public shaming don't seem appropriate to me for someone who is known to be literally mentally ill. Suspending him quietly would be better in my view in this circumstance. His life is already a public circus freakshow exhibit, but there's no reason to exacerbate that.

The symbol that West posted is the former logo of the Raëlians, the UFO cult that claimed to have cloned a human back in the day. Their current symbol replaces the swastika with a swirl:

Yes, I agree with that. I did not intend to excuse what Kanye did, though I realize now that my post could be read that way. It was rather an expression of disbelief at the absurdity of an anti-Semite accidentally posting a UFO cult's logo.
