what gibberish. the arctic is not a "wasteland". nor is the desert. these are simply environments not suited to unaided human habitation. the polar bears don't think its a wasteland. all that fresh water locked up as ice is what is keeping manhattan from becoming marineworld.
Wow, I tend to think an ice-free Arctic means something has gone really wrong. So wrong that it wouldn't be the time to think about the shifting geopolitical power... 2013 eh?
