The joys of cloud connected smart thermostats: the cloud services seem to be unavailable, including the support page, so I can no longer change the temperature in my home via the app. Thermostat still seems to control the heater, as I can see gas usage in a different cloud based app. Would be nice if more thermostats would offer direct connectivity from app to thermostat without the need to go through a cloud service.

Any ideas what is going on? What smart thermostat are available that don’t need a cloud service?
