Ask HN: What's a Game Boy Printer experience today?

Thinking about gifts for children, I had a big nostalgia hit remembering the Game Boy Printer (and Camera). What options are around today for a simple lo-fi printing option from, for example a micro SD card from a digital camera?

I'd prefer not to buy something cheap that breaks, something without expensive and esoteric consumables and something that doesn't require a crapware app.
