We've used OpenAI to build a ton of tools at my other company (https://recruit.so) to automate/enhance a lot of internal processes.
During the process, we realized with the right interface, we could enable our non-engineers to build these for themselves, and even could make the engineers a lot faster to ship.
OpenAI has amazing APIs with insane capabilities, but UIs are still miles behind to let most people to unlock the full potential of LLMs.
ChatGPT is a great example of that - which is primarily a frontend on top of an API that has been around for a while.
Our team consists of rockstar frontend engineers with 8-10 years of experience building products at 10+ YC startups.
So we thought, what if we become the frontend team at OpenAI? And thus we started building re:tune.
If any of you are building / exploring / thinking to build on top of GPT-3/LLMs and want to try out re:tune - would love to give you a demo and hear your feedback!
