I've loved this show since I first say it on Kentucky Educational TV oh so long ago when I got my first TV. Would watch this and then Monty Python right after.

I'm probably one of the few users here who saw it when it first came out.
What was the reaction like at the time? I saw it first in the 80s and it was relegated to a very late night slot on Irish national tv where art house stuff usually played.
