If I wanted to become a moderator, what kind of "Moderator School" do I have to attend? I mean, is there certification? I many times wondered how to get into the professional moderator role but never met anyone who did or found out how.
in the early days it was a journalism of libarts career. but those people were also curating content (eg yahoo "surfers") and only moderating as a small function of that curation.
today it's all about whats in your head. ...I mean, if it's google, dye your hair blue. if it's twitter, buy a red cap.
