Poll: Should algorithms be regulated like drugs or gambling?

Would you support legally regulating content recommendation algorithms in a similar way to gambling and narcotics, two other categories of behavior-hijacking products?

First by law they should only call algorithms with a well-defined endpoint like ‘sorting’ algorithms. What Tik Tok does is a heuristic, not an algorithm.
Data collection and retention should be regulated, a downstream effect of that is regulation of content recommendation algorithms imo so yes.
Depends, but on platforms like on social media, we definitely need more transparency at how all the content is determined to end up on your front page.
