I don’t understand how people get convinced that the McMansions look good. Don’t they see they look like a bunch of Siamese twin tiny houses? Who’s fault is that? Why do architects offer this crap? Why do we inflict this ugliness upon ourselves?

I love this neologism "greige", it perfectly conveys the utter lack of colours of so many "modern" houses (real or rendered/fake).
